Clayton Long is widely acknowledged across the industry for his expertise in the area of Family and Relationship Law.

Over the last 28 years, Clayton has successfully resolved thousands of Family Law cases, enabling 97% of parties to reach a legal resolution, without the need to conduct a court hearing. He combines his accounting experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers and litigation experience with MinterEllison to have an edge in business and complex cases.

Clayton has a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Law from the Australian National University and a Masters of Law from Sydney University. He was admitted as a solicitor in 1989.

Mona Neuhaus

Mona has practiced in Family Law since being admitted as a solicitor in 2015. Mona also has experience as an Associate to a Judge in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, which provided an invaluable daily insight into the Court’s dealings in family law matters.

Mona can provide practical and thorough advice on a broad range of family law matters, whilst being mindful and considerate of the additional stressors and financial constraints that family law proceedings often impose. Mona has experience appearing regularly in the Family Court of Australia and Federal Circuit Court of Australia, along with representing parties at mediations to assist them to achieve a positive outcome.

Mona is a member of the Law Society of NSW and is admitted as a Solicitor in the High Court of Australia, Supreme Court of NSW and Supreme Court of Queensland.

Suzana Grima

Suzana Grima

Suzana was admitted as a solicitor in 2014, and has practised in family law, property law and estate planning.  Having previously assisted in building up a diverse practice group, she developed a broad range of experience and skills across multiple areas of law. As a result, she is able to provide her clients with considered and comprehensive legal advice referencing potential issues across various legal arenas. Suzana now works exclusively in all areas of family law, including both litigation and alternative dispute resolution.

In conjunction with a thriving private practice, Suzana has also excelled in her academic pursuits. She has been awarded:

  • Dean’s Award in the Australian School of Business (UNSW),
  • Academic Achievement Award Scholarship (UNSW); and
  • Masters of Law (specialising in Taxation) (USYD), where she was awarded first place in Asset Protection.

Suzana is also involved in advocacy and research to end domestic violence in all its forms, and regularly works in conjunction with Domestic Violence (DV) specialists.

Having had the bulk of her experience in ‘people focused’ areas of law, Suzana has a high regard for the maintenance of positive client relations, and values productive and honest communication with clients.

Suzana is a member of the Law Society of NSW and speaks fluent Serbian and English. Suzana is admitted as a Solicitor in the High Court of Australia and Supreme Court of NSW.

Charlotte Sterling

Charlotte was admitted to the High Court of Australia and Supreme Court of NSW in May 2017. Following her admission, Charlotte commenced her career at a specialist family law firm where she practiced solely in the area of family law and gained experience in complex parenting and property matters assisting a diverse range of clients.

Charlotte’s extensive knowledge of family law allows her to take a considered approach to all her matters to ensure a timely and cost-effective resolution. Her personable approach will make you feel at ease during what is often a challenging time in your life.

Charlotte has a particular interest in law reform.

In 2019, she prepared a submissions paper in response to the Australian Law Reform Commission (“ALRC”) review of the Family Law System. Two of her recommendations were referenced in the Final Review Paper published by the ALRC.

In 2021, Charlotte was involved in drafting submissions to the NSW Committee on Coercive Control. These submissions were referenced several times in the Committee’s report and following the submission she and her co-contributors were invited to give evidence before the Committee at NSW Parliament House.

Jessica Balic

Jessica Balic

Jessica has worked in the Family Law sphere since 2017. Jessica is a skilled litigator who has experience representing clients in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, the District Court and the Children’s Court.

Jessica holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business and Commerce (majoring in Advanced Business Leadership) from the University of Western Sydney. Jessica also holds a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law.

Moonira Mamoon

Moonira has worked exclusively in Family Law since 2017, both prior to and after her admission in 2021. She assists clients in all areas of family law including complex property settlements, parenting matters, divorce, and arbitration. Moonira provides an empathetic and practical approach to help her clients navigate through their family law issues and the Federal Circuit and Family Court system.

Moonira grew up in Western Sydney before relocating to Qatar and the United Kingdom for a number of years. Moonira’s international exposure allows her to critically consider and understand different strategies that may need to be taken when there are conflicting cultural or religious factors within the relationship or family.

Moonira holds a BA (honours) degree in Law and Politics from the University of Kent in the United Kingdom and attended the University of Sydney to complete her training with the Legal Profession Admission Board in NSW. Moonira also completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the College of Law in 2020, and thereafter was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales.

Moonira is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales, New South Wales Young Lawyers Family Law Committee, and the Greater West Family Law Practitioners Association.
