Al-Karim Madhavji

Al-Karim is a solicitor within the property and commercial team. Al-Karim has extensive experience in the purchase and sale of land, including off the plan contracts and company title properties. He also has extensive experience in retail and commercial leasing; purchase and sale of business; and building contracts. Al-Karim acts for private individuals, large and small public and private companies, property developers, and trust companies.

Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Al-Karim acted and advised on property law including property disputes, commercial law including contract disputes, debt recovery and insolvency matters, criminal and civil litigation, family law, and wills and estate planning.

Al-Karim has been commended by clients for his ability to provide sound advice in an easy-to-understand manner without the use of legal jargon and for making himself available to his clients.

In his spare time, he is a member of the NSW Young Lawyers Property Law and Business Law committees and contributes to social justice and environmental issues.

Al-Karim is also a Mentor to NSW Young Lawyers and was awarded the 2021 Early Careers Mentor of the Year Award for his outstanding support and dedication to the mentorship program.

Al-Karim was admitted to practice as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2015 after completing a Juris Doctor of Law at the University of Sydney.
